Carla D\u00e1vila Velarde, esposa del alcalde de Lima, Renzo Reggiardo, visit\u00f3 esta ma\u00f1ana las instalaciones del Gran Mercado Mayorista de Lima (GMML) con el objetivo de conocer de cerca el trabajo que se realiza a trav\u00e9s del programa \u201cHambre Cero\u201d, iniciativa que promueve la recolecci\u00f3n y donaci\u00f3n de alimentos por parte de los comerciantes del mercado.<\/p><p>Durante su recorrido, la Sra. D\u00e1vila fue recibida por la gerente general de EMMSA, Lourdes Ram\u00edrez Ram\u00edrez, quien le explic\u00f3 el proceso de recolecci\u00f3n, selecci\u00f3n y entrega de los productos donados a la Fundaci\u00f3n Lima, entidad encargada de distribuirlos a los diversos comedores populares y ollas comunes de Lima Metropolitana.<\/p><p>En la jornada de hoy, se logr\u00f3 reunir un promedio de 10 toneladas de alimentos, entre ellos cebollas, zanahorias, pepinos, ollucos, beterragas, pimientos, caiguas, rocotos, zapallos y otros productos frescos. Estos alimentos fueron destinados al distrito de El Agustino, beneficiando a 100 ollas comunes del sector.<\/p><p>La visita tambi\u00e9n permiti\u00f3 mostrarle las principales \u00e1reas operativas del GMML, con especial \u00e9nfasis en los espacios de Seguridad y Estad\u00edstica, donde se explic\u00f3 el funcionamiento del sistema que permite garantizar el orden, la trazabilidad y la transparencia en las operaciones del mercado.<\/p><p>Con esta visita, EMMSA reafirma su compromiso con la solidaridad, la sostenibilidad y la seguridad alimentaria de los ciudadanos, fortaleciendo el trabajo conjunto entre el sector p\u00fablico, privado y las organizaciones sociales para seguir apoyando a miles de familias en situaci\u00f3n de
